COMMUNICATION
- Be Accountable - Following the schedule is important but unexpected situations may occur. When they do remember to communicate with the team leader and to any available team members to back you up. We are a team that will support each other but communicating is key.
- In everything that we do, we strive to always focus on building people up. We always want to get better with our talents and correcting mistakes is a natural process but we want to be careful to walk in humility and kindness.
COMMITMENT
- Challenge Yourself - In Psalms 33:3 the bible teaches us to play skillfully. We must challenge ourselves to be good stewards of the talents God has given us, whether it's playing an instrument or using our voice. Whatever your talent level is seek to double it like the good servant in Matthew 25.
- Use your time wisely - Let's be mindful of our time and the time of our team members. Scheduling is posted within VO Heart App. Rehearsal is a time where we come to put together what we have practiced during our free time. Set time apart so when we come to Rehearsal we can worship freely and be creative with our talents. This makes what we do less work and more fun!
- Give your best - Nobody is perfect and we don't expect anybody to be flawless every time but giving your best to the Lord is important as well. If you need help with something ask. If your frustrated, be patient and don't give up.
- Each member should be involved with a Life Group and be actively discipled.
CHARACTER
- Teamwork - We will battle against the enemy week after week and with that the enemy will fight back. Stressful times will occur but remember that caring, loving and understanding one another is what God has called us to do.
- Positive Energy - Instead of being a thermometer, let's be a thermostat! We will all have moments when the attacks may build up against us but let us continue to learn how to pick each other up.
- Quality music and an excellent spirit is attractive to both God and to people.
- Consistency - Having a mega mentality is great but being able to have the longevity of excellence is vital.
